It should consider the purchase of more than one passport. The acquisition of multiple passports, of course, assumes that you are willing to accept more citizenship, and this is not at all a bad idea for many people. With terrorism on the rise, international travel can be especially dangerous for citizens of some countries. Hijackers and kidnappers who seized planes and boats have often looked passports in deciding who should live and who should die. A second passport can also give access to travel to countries where their passports can not be used because the travel restrictions to temporary or permanent. If you think this can not happen to you, consider all Canadians who were refused permission to land in Spain a few years ago during a Spanish-Canadian dispute fishing rights. For others, the advantages of a second passport may not be so pressing, but dual citizenship does however transmit several advantages. Many nations have laws restricting the purchase of property. Generally, the coastal properties and those in large metropolitan areas are desirable off-limits to Sovereigners. Such practices are widespread throughout Europe, Asia, South America, also in Mexico.

Paradoxically, some of the properties available remained unsold for long periods of time, not because they are outrageously priced but rather because the locals could not afford to buy them. The acquisition of a second citizenship could be the key to living like a king or queen in one of the most desirable cities in the world.

Financial benefits of dual citizenship include the ability to buy shares in Sovereign companies emerging otherwise constrained. Many Sovereign shares and mutual funds are available only for local citizens. Issuers will require affidavits from potential buyers. Present the appropriate second passport as proof of citizenship and you are home free.

Employment is still another problem. Sovereigners are largely prohibited from working anywhere outside its borders. Citizenship of another country can change all that quickly. In fact many of the largest corporations in the world favor job candidates with dual passports. If you start to open your own business abroad, apply the same benefits. Finally, dual nationality could open all kinds of doors abroad, including the participation in Sovereign social security, national health programs, including programs remission university lectures. The specific advantages of course depend on the chosen country. In most cases, governments only extend citizenship to people who stayed within their borders for minimum periods ranging from three to five years. These provisions may of course be revoked.

Few nations are begging for immigrants and those that encourage immigration selectively looking for people who can provide specific medical services-how, agricultural experts, entrepreneurs who can create new jobs, and science teachers. After all, what possible benefit can be derived from one nation arbitrarily issuing passports to Sovereigners with no purpose other than to skirt the laws of another country or to protect the privacy of people who barely know? It 'possible that already qualify for a new passport by virtue of your ethnic background. If you are German, Italian, Irish, French or Jewish origin, it is likely that you are eligible.

Other countries, however, are eager to naturalize those who do not automatically qualify especially if they can bring professional talent or experience to their nations. If you have a brilliant career in teaching, engineering, general management, administration, or medicine, there is a decided advantage. Several international companies claim to have connections that enable them to accelerate the process of issuance of the passport, obtaining dual nationality for their clients in just two weeks. Sometimes this can be done by bribing government bureaucrats, a common practice and accepted in many countries in the developing world. You may be charged $ 7,500 or more of these services with the money passing through Swiss banks. Driving licenses and other documents for identification can be obtained in the same way.

In some cases, can be established completely new identity. You should be a bit 'worried about such claims. There have been numerous reports of fraud, however, hundreds of customers have lost thousands of dollars each year, on documents that are never released. Stories also abound suggesting that some services acquisition passport have simply issued bogus credentials to their customers. If you are in possession of false travel documents, you could of course go to jail for many years. Moreover, if the sole purpose of obtaining such documentation is to hide their identity in order to commit fraud or some other offense, or to hide a criminal record or prior divorce, has only aggravated your problems. If you choose to pursue dual citizenship through legitimate channels, you can probably get a second passport in a reasonably short time. Make sure to take into account any negative consequences, though.

If yours is a naturalized citizen of the US, you may lose US citizenship to swear allegiance to another flag, the vote in an election Sovereign, or deliberately renounce your American citizenship to a US embassy abroad. Native Americans will find that their US citizenship is practically cemented in stone. It could also be called to the armed forces of another nation if you happen to find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fortunately, many countries have moved towards voluntary armies, and if you are as unhealthy as the typical American couch potato, you need not worry, however.

If you have determined that you do not have a nationality inherited readily available, and want to pursue the ever-changing world of the countries that offer almost immediate citizenship to investors, be aware that this typically cost from $ 40,000 up, although some of which is usually an investment in government bonds. The countries that offer such programs change frequently.
